A PRS or NRL rifle earns its keep in awkward positions on a clock. That drives everything about the build: a chassis or stock ballasted for balance over a barricade, an action that feeds smoothly when you're running the bolt fast and dirty, a trigger light enough for precision but safe when you're moving, and an optic in a proper mount that tracks true.
Cartridge selection is part of the conversation — the 6mm and 6.5mm match standards each carry trade-offs in recoil, barrel life, and factory ammo availability, and what makes sense depends on how much you shoot and whether you load your own. Load development support is available either way.
