Precision Gunsmithing

Shop services, done right

Not every rifle needs to be built from scratch. Component-level work — a fresh barrel, a trued action, a proper optic setup — can transform the rifle you already own.

Barrel Work

Rebarreling & Chambering

Replacing a shot-out barrel, or chambering and threading a new blank for your action and cartridge goals. Quality blanks from Bartlein, Krieger, Brux, Proof, and other lines, fit and headspaced correctly.

Action Work

Action Blueprinting

Precision truing and blueprinting for Remington-style actions — squaring the critical surfaces so the barrel, bolt, and receiver work together instead of against each other.

Threading

Muzzle Threading & Crowning

Concentric muzzle threading for brakes and suppressors, and clean recrowning for accuracy — done on the lathe, not with a hand kit.

Triggers

Trigger Work & Replacement

Factory trigger tuning where appropriate, or replacement with TriggerTech, Timney, or Bix'n Andy units set to a clean, safe break for your use.

Optics

Scope Mounting & Setup

Mounting, leveling, and torque-spec setup with quality rings and bases — so the optic tracks true and holds zero, whether it's a hunting scope or a match optic.

Performance

Load Development Support

Development support across a wide range of cartridges to find what your barrel actually wants to shoot — especially valuable after a rebarrel or a new build.

Common Questions

Before you bring a rifle in

Do you work on factory rifles?

Yes. A factory rifle with a good action is often the smartest starting point — a rebarrel, trigger, and proper optic setup can take it a long way without the cost of a full custom build.

Can you thread my barrel for a suppressor?

Yes — muzzle threading is done concentric to the bore on the lathe, in the thread pitch your suppressor or brake requires, with a clean recrown.

How do I get work scheduled?

Call or email to talk through the job first. The shop is by appointment only, which keeps every visit focused on your rifle.
